At KRAK Surf, we hand-make and ship surf gear with care. If something is not right with your order, contact us and we will sort it out properly.
This policy applies to purchases made through kraksurf.com.au.
Australian Consumer Law
Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement, repair, refund, or other remedy if a product has a major problem, is faulty, unsafe, not as described, or does not do what it is supposed to do.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Change of Mind Returns
We accept change of mind returns within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is:
- unused
- uninstalled
- unworn or unwashed, for apparel
- in original condition
- in original packaging where possible
- returned with proof of purchase

Please include your order number, name, and the item you want to return.
If your return is approved, we will provide return instructions. Items sent back without contacting us first may not be accepted.
Surfboard Traction Pads and Adhesive Products
KRAK PADs, Spines, Steps, and other adhesive products must be returned unused and uninstalled.
Once an adhesive product has been applied to a surfboard, we generally cannot accept a change of mind return, as the product cannot be resold.
This does not affect your rights if the product is faulty or not as described.
Apparel
T-shirts and apparel can be returned for change of mind if they are unworn, unwashed, and in original condition.
Because our tees are hand-printed, small variations in print placement, ink texture, or finish may occur. These variations are part of the handmade process and are not considered faults unless the item is damaged, defective, or not as described.
Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items
If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, contact us as soon as possible at:

Please include:
- your order number
- a short description of the issue
- clear photos of the product and packaging
If the issue is confirmed, we will offer a suitable remedy, which may include a replacement, repair, refund, or store credit, depending on the situation and your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Return Shipping
For change of mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
For faulty, damaged, or incorrect items, we will cover reasonable return shipping costs where required under Australian Consumer Law.
We recommend using a tracked postage service, as we cannot take responsibility for returned items lost in transit.
Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will let you know whether the refund has been approved.
Approved refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.
Please allow time for your bank or payment provider to process the refund.
Original shipping costs are generally not refundable for change of mind returns.

If you need a different item, size, or colour, contact us at:

If the original item is unused and eligible for return, we can help arrange an exchange or guide you through placing a new order.
Sale Items
Sale items can be returned for change of mind only if stated at the time of purchase and if they meet the return conditions above.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law still apply to faulty, damaged, or incorrectly supplied sale items.
